We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Clinical Oncology or Medical Virology or Medical Microbiology.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to undertake high-quality research within an outstanding academic and clinical environment. As a NIHR Clinical Lecturer, you will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge projects in Clinical Oncology, Medical Virology, or Medical Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality research in Clinical Oncology, Medical Virology, or Medical Microbiology
- Develop and implement research projects in collaboration with the research team
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications
- Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to translate research findings into clinical practice
- Supervise and mentor junior researchers and students
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field
- Full GMC registration and a current National Training Number NTN/NTN(A) in Clinical Oncology or Medical Virology or Medical Microbiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong research and analytical skills
