We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Clinical Oncology, Medical Virology, or Medical Microbiology.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to undertake high-quality research within an outstanding academic and clinical environment. As a Clinical Lecturer, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in Clinical Oncology, Medical Virology, or Medical Microbiology, with a focus on translational research and clinical trials.
- Develop and lead research projects, including study design, data collection, and analysis.
- Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and industry partners to advance medical knowledge and improve patient care.
- Supervise and mentor junior researchers and clinicians.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Full GMC registration and a current National Training Number (NTN) in Clinical Oncology, Medical Virology, or Medical Microbiology.
- Excellent research and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in research design, data analysis, and publication.
