Job Description

We are seeking an Advanced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will have significant experience working with children with SLCN who have co-occurring social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

As an expert in SLCN, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a communication strategy in partnership with local authorities and healthcare services. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting this vulnerable group.

You will work autonomously, leading a team of therapists and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery. The successful candidate will have excellent presentation skills, verbal, written, and audio-visual, as well as good time management and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct treatment for individuals with high need.
  • Delivery of a range of interventions offering sustainable support to children.
  • Increasing community capacity by teaching and upskilling others.

A competitive salary of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, pro rata, is on offer for the right candidate. We require a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and Health Professionals Council Registration, as well as a valid DBS check and ability to pass an Occupational Health Check.
