Supporting Young People in Transition

In recognition of outstanding practice, leadership, and innovation, the Frontline Awards celebrate excellence in Children's Social Care. These awards showcase the remarkable achievements of young people who have benefited from social worker support. The event featured seven categories: Leadership, Practice, Team of the Year – Sponsored by Hamptons Resourcing Limited, Fellowship Award, and Participant of the Year.

Honoring a team that has made a significant difference, the Team of the Year award was sponsored by Hamptons Resourcing Limited. The ceremony was hosted by Frontline, and the winners were announced. The CEO presented the award to Darlington Borough Council for their Staying Close project, which offers support to young people leaving care and transitioning to independent living. This initiative equips young people with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate adulthood and reduce the 'cliff edge' effect. Estimated salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum.
