National Sales Director

We are looking for a National Sales Director to lead our packaging solutions team at Harrison Scott Associates.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in senior-level sales, with experience in selling packaging solutions to retailers.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level and work with a leading recruitment agency in the packaging industry.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Researching new clients and products on a national basis.
- Prospecting and cold calling using their own initiative and industry knowledge.
- Persuading new prospects and lapsed customers to place physical orders or accept meetings to discuss packaging needs.
- Maximising profitable opportunities by understanding client operations and pricing.
- Increasing company participation in tendered packaging opportunities.
- Attending exhibitions and training courses to develop knowledge and skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive mindset and care for their work, clients, and colleagues.
- A proven track record of senior-level sales, ideally in selling packaging to retailers.
- High motivation and ability to work effectively under their own initiative.
- Confidence in liaising with company owners/directors and prestigious blue-chip companies.
- The ability to challenge and persuade prospects if necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive work ethic and strong organisational skills.
The estimated salary for this role is £55,000-£65,000 basic (depending on experience) + large bonus.
