IT Helpdesk Support Specialist

Hours: 7:30am - 15:30pm/ Monday to Friday.
Salary: £32,000 per annum + travel expense up to Zone 6
Location: London
First People Recruitment is seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Engineer who can communicate effectively with end-users in the EMEA region. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, providing first-level support, and escalating complex problems to senior engineers. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with desktop/laptop PC support, network implementation, and optimization.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of PC/network security configuration, migration planning, and execution. Additionally, they will be responsible for proof of concept testing, vendor negotiation, and control. Development and implementation of new features and services will also be a key responsibility. Candidates must be able to establish and cease PC/Desktop Security systems, manage project schedules, and maintain secure operations.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and will be proficient in PC software such as Microsoft WIN 10/11, Antivirus, and Windows Server. Speaking Japanese would be an advantage. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential, as well as a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
