**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Materials Artist to join our team on a 12-month contract in London. As a key member of the studio, you will be responsible for developing complex materials using procedural techniques and working closely with the Art team to ensure consistently high-quality materials throughout game environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience completing at least one full game production cycle in a similar role and possess strong observational skills for translating references into designer materials.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Developing custom tools in Substance Designer and integrating them with other tools in the pipeline.
  • Managing and optimizing the material asset pipeline for in-engine use.

**Requirements:**

  • Extensive knowledge of Substance Designer and physically based rendering.
  • Proficiency with Substance Painter and experience in Blender or similar 3D authoring software.
  • Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

**Estimated Salary:** £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
