Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our estates and facilities division as Assistant Director for Property and Estates Strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring our property assets are safe, functional, sustainable, and value for money.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining our property strategy, aligning it with our clinical strategy
  • Implementing the trust's property strategy to improve the functionality, safety, and sustainability of our estate
  • Managing the finances of the property and estates strategy, including income and expenditure
  • Leading the development of our estates strategy, ensuring it aligns with our clinical strategy
  • Working with divisions, estates, and capital teams to identify future requirements and develop the trust's 5-year capital plan
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven budget management skills and financial acumen
  • Experience of managing a diverse team
  • Negotiation and influencing skills at a senior management level
  • Presentation skills at Board level
  • Evidence of delivering and implementing strategic plans
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of around £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
