Job Overview

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join its Clinical Governance Team as a Deputy Governance Coordinator. This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the Governance Team and the triumvirate in coordinating the operational aspects of clinical governance for the Trust.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing advice and support to staff of all disciplines within the Trust in relation to all aspects of the governance agenda.
  • Ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Contributing to the governance agenda at multi-disciplinary meetings.
  • Providing sound clinical and professional advice to colleagues.

Requirements

  • Registered Health Care Professional with valid and current registration.
  • First degree or equivalent or working towards.
  • Recognised teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in using a clinical risk and incident management platform, e.g. Datix system.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
