Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Specialist to join our team in New Milton. As a key member of our floating support team, you'll play a vital role in delivering person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve reporting directly to the Resource Allocation Manager and providing flexible support to adults with complex care needs in the New Milton area. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing highly skilled and individualised support to people with learning disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and community engagement
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement support plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality assurance initiatives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities (or a strong desire to learn and grow in this area)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive and access to a vehicle
