Area Sales Manager

Are you a driven and entrepreneurial sales professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Algeco UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hunt and develop specific leads from market information, centrally provided data, and prospecting within your area, both by telephone and site & customer visits.
  • Grow the relationships and revenue of the accounts identified to ensure repeat business.
  • Owning and converting leads & opportunities provided by inbound and outbound Sales Execs.
  • Identify opportunities for new products and services that will strengthen our offering to our customers and deliver a good return on investment.
  • Deliver quality sales proposals in response to tenders and enquiries from customers.
  • Ensure clear boundaries and hand offs between sales functions are followed on a day to day basis.
Requirements:
  • Possess an entrepreneurial attitude towards winning business.
  • Promote a customer-first mindset and understand the commercial need to balance that approach with business financial returns.
  • Be a focused and driven business development manager who strives to exceed their targets.
  • Be a first-class relationship builder who is at ease with the matrix organisation and able to work cross-functionally.
  • Take pride in their excellent sales skills and constantly strive for further improvement.
  • Not be averse to change and be able to communicate process improvements effectively.
  • Hold a full driving licence.
