About the Role:

Elysium Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Felbrigg House, a specialist care service for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Ward Manager in leading the nursing team to deliver high-quality care and support to service users with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the needs of service users are met and exceeded.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and confidence to deliver excellent care.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Relevant nursing qualification and NMC registration.
  • Experience of working in a similar role, preferably in a learning disability or autism setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
