Project Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Service Project Manager to join our team at Power Electrics. As a key member of our aftermarket team, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for upgrades and modification of generator installations and switchgear systems.
Key Responsibilities- Seek out and respond to project opportunities with new and existing customers in the following areas:
- Generator Repair and Refurbishment
- Relocation of Generators and ancillary equipment
- Upgrade of Electrical Generator Systems
- Upgrade of Mechanical Generator Systems
- Manage project sales process from opportunity stage to completion
- Respond to contract opportunities and general service opportunities
- Prepare prequalification and tender responses along with general customer quotations
- Follow up on all quotations and tender submissions
- Submit monthly forecasts and reports
- Develop the strategy for growing Project Business
- External specialist companies
- End Users, Contractors & Facility Management Companies, eg. Data centres, Hospitals, Police, Manufacturing & Distribution
- Key suppliers & sub-contractors
- Internal Service departmentSales teamAdmin supportRental team
- Possess a relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering i.e. HND/HNC or equivalent
- Proven experience in a customer-facing service sales environment
- Ability to work autonomously to achieve or exceed agreed targets
- Good customer handling skills are essential along with a sound commercial perspective
- Have a good level of IT skills
- Good exposure to and an understanding of ISO 9001
- Experience in dealing with delivery contracts
