Job Summary

The Accommodation and Bookings Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the student room allocation process and providing administrative support for various accommodation processes within the department. This includes being the first point of contact for day-to-day bookings and administration of the College guest rooms, as well as assisting with the summer bedroom allocation for conference bookings during the long vacation period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the student room allocation process to ensure efficient and effective use of College resources.
  • Provide administrative support for various accommodation processes, including bookings and room allocations.
  • Assist with the implementation of best practice policies and procedures, including key system implementation and improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and external partners, responding promptly and effectively to their needs and concerns.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have previous work experience in an administrative/secretarial role and experience of working with people at all levels. You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be organized, with good attention to detail, and a customer service ethos. You will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
