Job Title: Asset Manager/ Property Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Manager/ Property Manager to join our team. As an Asset Manager/ Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing our real estate assets, including commercial and residential properties, to maximize their value and ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize the value of real estate assets
  • Monitor the performance of properties, including financial performance, occupancy rates, and tenant relations
  • Oversee property managers to ensure efficient property operations
  • Prepare and manage property budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Manage cash flow and capital expenditures related to property maintenance and improvements
  • Negotiate lease agreements with new tenants and renewals with existing tenants
  • Ensure compliance with lease terms and resolve tenant issues
  • Work with legal teams on any lease disputes or modifications
  • Identify opportunities for property improvements to enhance value
  • Oversee renovation projects, property maintenance, and repairs
  • Ensure properties comply with relevant health, safety, and building regulations
  • Conduct market analysis and assess opportunities for property acquisition or disposition
  • Prepare financial models and investment projections
  • Develop marketing strategies to enhance property visibility and attract high-quality blue-chip tenants
  • Identify risks associated with real estate assets and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure appropriate insurance coverage is in place for all properties
  • Monitor legal and regulatory changes affecting the real estate market
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of property management, real estate market trends, and financial analysis
  • Experience managing a portfolio of properties (commercial and/or residential)
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and asset performance analysis
  • Understanding of real estate law, leasing, and property valuation
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field (MBA or certifications like CPM/CCIM are a plus)
  • Some knowledge of Quantity Surveying
