Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and qualified Humanities Teacher to join our team at Active Care Group. As a specialist in Humanities, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students in a small group setting, designing and implementing a programme of study, and providing creative and high-quality learning experiences.

About the Role: This is a part-time position, working 2 days per week, term-time only. You will be working with students aged 12-18 who are being treated in an inpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (Tier 4 CAMHs). Our school is part of the Active Care Group, which caters for up to 37 young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Humanities subjects to students in a small group setting
  • Design and implement a programme of study that meets the needs of students
  • Provide creative and high-quality learning experiences that engage students
  • Support students in their academic and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with other education and support staff to achieve student outcomes

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for teaching and learning, a commitment to providing high-quality education, and the ability to work effectively with students and staff. You will also need to have a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements for Humanities subjects.
