Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 neg + bonus

The Role of the Business Development Manager - Fire Detection & Security Systems

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, specializing in Fire Detection & Security Systems. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling the design, supply, and installation services of fire and security systems to end-users and facilities management companies.

The ideal candidate will have field sales experience in the fire or security sector, with a sound knowledge of various communication systems such as fire alarms, access controls, telecoms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and door access. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a stable career background.

The Business Development Manager will work on projects such as schools, restaurants, clubs, business parks, theatres, etc., with project order values ranging from £5k to £200k. The initial turnover target will be circa £500k.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Selling the design, supply, and installation services of fire and security systems to end-users and facilities management companies.
  2. Working on projects such as schools, restaurants, clubs, business parks, theatres, etc.
  3. Managing project order values ranging from £5k to £200k.
  4. Meeting the initial turnover target of circa £500k.

Requirements:

  1. Field sales experience in the fire or security sector.
  2. Sound knowledge of various communication systems such as fire alarms, access controls, telecoms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and door access.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Stable career background.
