About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning luxury care home, Cavendish Park. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional resident care and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

About You

We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual who is dedicated to delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for working closely with residents, their families, and other carers to provide person-centered care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional resident care and support, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social needs of each resident are met.
  • Work closely with the care team to develop and implement care plans that reflect the individual needs of each resident.
  • Manage and motivate the care team to achieve excellence in care delivery.
  • Ensure the provision of personal nursing care is consistently delivered to all residents.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the local community.
  • Manage medication and ensure compliance with NMC guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or working towards).
  • Medication training.
  • Previous experience in a similar role (advantageous).
  • Enhanced DBS check.
