We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant/Care Team Leader to join our award-winning luxury care home, Cavendish Park. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional resident care and inspire positivity in our residents, their families, and friends.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care. You will have a proven track record of providing person-centered care and have a sound understanding of the NMC medication guidelines. You will also have experience in care planning and risk assessments, and be able to motivate and inspire your teams to achieve excellence every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with residents, their families, friends, and other carers to provide the highest standards of professional, person-centered care.
- Ensure a caring, safe, and welcoming environment that supports the physical, emotional, and social needs of each resident.
- Provide personal nursing care to all residents, with unparalleled kindness and compassion.
- Build strong and fulfilling relationships with your Majesticare team, residents, families, friends, and within the local community.
- Manage, motivate, and inspire your teams to achieve excellence every day.
- Have a sound understanding of the NMC medication guidelines and be knowledgeable in both the theory and practice of medication management.
- Experience in care planning and risk assessments, with a passion to ensure the care delivery reflects these at all times.
- Previous experience within a similar role is advantageous.
- You must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or be working towards) and be medication trained.
- This role is subject to an enhanced criminal record check.
