Care Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Coordinator to support our management team in the day-to-day operations of our high-quality care service in the Blackburn area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager and senior care staff to coordinate the development of the service
  • Rota management and staff recruitment and retention
  • Promote a positive culture in line with our company ethos and values
  • Provide inspired leadership to the team ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients
  • Support the recruitment and training of Care Professionals and the office team
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures by all employees
  • Scheduling training for support and care staff
  • Assisting the recruitment team with new starters
Requirements:
  • Care experience or a similar fast-paced role with a proven track record in providing excellent customer service
  • Good knowledge and understanding of compliance and legislative requirements of the Care Standards regulations
  • Ability to multitask in a busy and ever-changing environment
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and a recognized rota management system
  • Excellent attention to detail
