Deputy Event Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Deputy Event Operations Manager to join our team at Change Hospitality. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of all events, including team and house management, maintenance, health and safety, supplier management, and venue logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of events, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with the events team to plan and coordinate events, including venue setup, catering, and logistics.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure excellent service and quality.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and venue standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of event strategies and plans.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event operations, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Full driving license and ability to drive company vehicles.
