">About the Role: As a Claims Defence Solicitor, you will work on a variety of pre-litigated and litigated claims, acting on behalf of local authorities and their insurers. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research and investigations, drafting pleadings and preparing cases for trial, attending conferences and court hearings, communicating effectively with clients, Counsel, and other stakeholders, meeting financial and chargeable targets, and participating in business development activities.
">Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have NQ to 2 years PQE experience in defending litigated claims, with strong knowledge of CPR and litigation procedures, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong IT skills and attention to detail, effective time management and organisational skills, and a flexible approach to work and willingness to travel when necessary.
