Join Our Team as an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in our vibrant primary school.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to gain practical and clinical experience in the field of Speech and Language Therapy. As an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced team to provide individualized support to children with autism and speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with special educational needs in a primary school setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Provide one-to-one support to children with autism and speech and language needs
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure children's learning needs are met
Requirements
  • Passion for working with children with special educational needs
  • Previous experience supporting children with autism or other special educational needs (desirable)
  • Ability to build rapport with children and work effectively as part of a team
  • Proactive and positive individual with a commitment to meeting children's learning needs
What We Offer
  • Competitive daily rates (£65-£90 per day) with the opportunity to earn up to £23,040 per annum (full-time equivalent)
