We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant primary school in central London. Our school has a specialist provision for children with autism and speech and language needs, and we are looking for someone who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

About the Role

As an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support to children with autism and speech and language needs
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support children's learning and behavior
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for our students
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for working with children with special educational needs
  • Previous experience supporting children with autism or other special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and positive attitude
