About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highways Supervisor to join our team at Colas Road UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and execution of reactive maintenance works within the Portsmouth area.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise various work streams within the reactive and proactive programmes
  • Ensure projects are completed within identified safety and time parameters
  • Maintain good relationships with clients and ensure all work is carried out to Company Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
  • Provide leadership and direction to several gangs across various work activities
  • Ensure operatives' Job Packs are maintained and up to date
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in management of highway maintenance
  • Good working knowledge of health and safety policies
  • Good IT skills and ability to keep good work records
  • Valid clean driving licence and thorough working knowledge of site safety rules

  • Salary between £34,000 and £36,000 (dependent on experience) PLUS Company Car/Car allowance
