**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled mental health specialist to join our team of professionals who support children, young people, and their families in schools across Kent and Medway.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people experiencing emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties. They will be expected to deliver interventions within schools and colleges, hold an individual caseload, and work closely with staff and parents to foster a whole-school approach to mental well-being.

The salary for this role is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver CBT interventions for anxiety, low mood, and behavioral problems.
  • Collaborate with schools to develop a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing.
  • Provide regular updates to schools and parents.

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified healthcare professional (e.g., Nurse, CWP, EMHP, Social Worker, IAPT CBT Therapist, or OT).
  • Experience working with children and young people experiencing emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding procedures and the role of a mental health professional in this context.
