Job Title: Support Worker for Children

We are recruiting a skilled Support Worker for Children to join our team in Maidstone. This full-time position involves providing vital support to students in a Year 4 and 5 class.

About the Job:

  • You will work closely with students, including providing one-on-one support to a student with autism and assisting a small group of boys with SEMH needs.
  • A supportive and structured environment ensures that you will have the guidance and resources needed to effectively support students' needs.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • No prior experience working with children with autism or SEMH needs is required; however, it is beneficial.
  • A strong commitment to helping children overcome challenges and succeed in their learning journey is essential.
  • You must be willing to work flexibly, including in the classroom and outdoors as required.
  • An enhanced Child-Only DBS check is necessary.

Annual Salary: Approximately £22,000
