Trend Specialist for ASOS Fashion

We're ASOS, a company that blends fashion with cutting-edge technology. We're looking for a creative designer to join our team as a Trend Specialist.

The successful candidate will have an acute awareness of 20-something platforms and a dedication to constant newness and first-to-market product. They will be responsible for identifying the most important trends and missed opportunities to test for the ASOS customer, presenting their findings to key stakeholders and senior directors.

The role will involve working closely with the buying team to ensure suppliers are developing and buying stocks on the most relevant fabric bases and trims, ensuring ASOS quality standards are met. The candidate will also be responsible for storytelling and ensuring the trends they have identified are carried through to production.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisation and time planning skills, be flexible in their design handwriting and skills, and be able to work at pace. They will also have a collaborative approach to the supply base, building the process together. Rapid learning across diverse suppliers, product types, and customer demand is essential for this role.
