Senior Jersey Designer

We're looking for a highly creative and innovative Senior Jersey Designer to join our team and drive the brand forward across multiple casual categories and all genders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design jersey and leisure products for Collusion, including researching key shapes, colours, fabrics, and building first-to-market pieces that meet our global customer base's needs.
- Stay plugged into Gen Z culture and fashion, constantly researching for newness and trends.
- Integrate into our brand way of working, thinking head-to-toe and building relationships with suppliers and advising factories on direction, construction, key details, materials, and trims.
- Adhere to the critical path to achieve deadlines, ensuring product is developed for the relevant and optimum selling period.
- Anticipate the needs of the Gen Z customer, using sales data, customer profile analytics, trend research, and current zeitgeist to deliver commercial product ranges and social and marketing campaigns.
- Create mood and colour boards and share creative ideas to shape and develop the Collusion collection and create trends for the season.
- Work alongside the buying teams to react to sales information and present design ideas and develop product to drive the range.
- Be agile to change and adapt designs at pace to action with our speed to market initiatives.
Requirements:
- A senior jersey designer with experience of managing at least one report.
- An amazing attitude and passion that reflects the Collusion DNA.
- Passionate about fashion and strong sense of style.
- Strong commercial handwriting and understanding of the Collusion Customer.
- Someone who is forthcoming and confident in presenting new and exciting ideas back to management and the wider team.
- Significant experience in multi-product jersey and leisure Design within an aspirational brand or high street Retailer.
- A keen graphics eye and experience briefing graphic designers.
- Photoshop, Adobe, CAD, and ideally hand sketch.
- A fashion forward perspective who is immersed in everything to do with the Gen Z customer.
- Strong time management skills and strong organisational admin skills.
- The confidence to identify problems and make improvement suggestions, seeking practical ways to overcome barriers and remaining calm under pressure.
- Comfortable travelling in the UK and internationally for supplier/product development meetings and inspirational purposes.
