The Early Years and Childcare Service in Caerphilly is seeking a skilled professional to deliver family support interventions across the borough. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on families with children aged 0-7 years, focusing on their development and wellbeing.

As an experienced worker, you will provide bespoke support to families, tackling the root causes of issues raised and promoting resilience. Your work may include antenatal, postnatal, and parenting support programmes, all designed to empower parents and improve child outcomes.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse groups. You will be expected to learn basic conversational Welsh and have experience delivering packages of family support in the home or community setting.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A relevant level 3 qualification
  2. Updated knowledge of family support and child development, with experience working with children 0-7 and their parents
  3. Experience delivering accredited parenting programmes with fidelity
  4. A full UK Category B driving licence and access to a motor vehicle for business use

Salary: £26,241 - £28,770 per annum.
