Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Lead to join our team at Baywater Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective safety protocols, fostering a culture of environmental awareness and compliance, and minimising the environmental impact of our company operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in EH&S leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare or operational industry. They should possess in-depth knowledge of HSE legislative frameworks across the UK, expertise in ISO 14001 standards, and excellent communication and influencing skills.

About the Role:

As our Sustainability Lead, you will lead on the implementation of Environmental and Sustainability strategies for the organisation. You will create and deliver internal campaigns to ensure best practice in Health and Safety across our depot and field-based locations as well as general office safety. The role requires travel across our operating sites, supporting and influencing regional teams and auditing against our standards.

You will work closely with the Leadership Team to ensure all operations are practising and prioritising the highest level of compliance in environmental sustainability and safe working. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining effective safety protocols
  • Fostering a culture of environmental awareness and compliance
  • Minimising the environmental impact of the company operations
