About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team on the Children's Ward (G2). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our young patients and their families.

Main Responsibilities

You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. This will involve supporting with daily tasks, providing emotional support to patients and families, and contributing to a positive and safe working environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a basic understanding of child development. Previous experience working with children and the general public is essential, and NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Health or Health and Social Care is required.
