Job Title: Apprentice Community Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice Community Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our service users, working closely with them to understand their needs and develop personalized support plans. You will also be involved in delivering training and workshops to promote independence and confidence among our service users.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others, and who is committed to delivering exceptional support and care. If you have a strong desire to work with children and young people, and are eager to develop your skills and knowledge in this field, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to children and young people with disabilities and their families
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the needs of our service users
  • Deliver training and workshops to promote independence and confidence among our service users
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives and programs to support our service users
Requirements
  • Experience of working with children and young people or adults with a disability
  • Understanding of the principles and limits of confidentiality
  • Evidence of awareness of the impact of oppression and discrimination
  • Consideration of the significance of safeguarding
  • Diploma (or NVQ) at Level 2 in a Childcare-related subject or be willing to work towards it
