Production Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in Maidstone, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Machinery and Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment to meet production targets.

  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks on finished products and report defects to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Production Targets: Ensure production targets and deadlines are met, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Stock Management: Assist with stock management and packing of products, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
Requirements:
  • Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet production targets, maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure quality standards are met.
