Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Kent County Council's Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Department for a QA Manager in the Child Protection Chairs Service.

We are seeking to recruit a full-time QA CPC Manager who will lead and influence the delivery of the Child Protection Chairs Service across the East and South Area.

The successful applicant will be part of a supportive management group, leading and line managing a cohort of Child Protection Chairs. They will work alongside the CPC QA Manager for the North and West Area to deliver a consistent and quality service.

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the quality assurance strategy within the service
  • Evidence extensive knowledge of statutory duties including child protection and legal processes
  • Provide excellent supervision and support for the Child Protection Chairs
  • Develop and maintain a good team atmosphere and morale

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or relevant field
  • Registration as a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England
  • Enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring service
  • Proven track record of delivering good outcomes for children and young people
