Job Summary:
We are seeking an Academic Quality Assurance Operations Director to oversee our technical team operations in the food manufacturing industry. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing 10 team members and providing technical support and service to internal teams and customers to ensure product quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and service to internal teams and customers
  • Maintain safety and quality standards
  • Coordinate team activities


Requirements:
  • Degree in Food related subject
  • Experience in retail, preferably in Food/FMCG
  • HACCP (Intermediate Level)
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of microbiological requirements for products and risk from raw materials
  • Understanding of food legislation applicable to product categories manufactured and raw materials supplied


About the Role:
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week. The successful candidate will be based in Kent, UK, with an industry leading food manufacturer. The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
