About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Community Stroke Therapy Team at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. This is a 12-month fixed-term position, ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will work across acute, inpatient rehabilitation, and community settings, managing a complex clinical caseload and providing specialized assessment and rehabilitation for patients following a stroke. Strong communication skills and an ability to promote an interdisciplinary approach to goal setting are essential.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex clinical caseload, providing specialized assessment and rehabilitation for patients following a stroke.
  • Use assessment skills to inform and manage appropriate discharge, working across inpatient and community settings.
  • Promote an interdisciplinary approach to goal setting while maintaining a strong Physiotherapy clinical focus.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and other multidisciplinary team professionals to inform discharge and MDT planning.

Annual Salary: £40,506 - £53,698 (Band 7), depending on experience.
