About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our team at Terry Parris Associates. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing power solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop PCB layouts, electrical schematics, and electrical diagrams for power supplies and control electronics.
  • Enter schematics from design engineering sketches and create 3D models and assemblies, including piece part information.
  • Generate and maintain part information and bills of materials, and maintain the PCB library and DCC drawing system.
  • Produce system schematics, wiring diagrams, and schedules, and ensure adherence to our Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems.
  • Stay informed and support ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental requirements and improvement activities, and commit to achieving our Company's business, Quality, and Environmental objectives and policies.
Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design, with knowledge of analogue, digital, and surface mount technologies.
  • Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficiency in CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design, with experience in Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor, and AutoCAD being a distinct advantage.
