Electronics Design Engineer

Our client, a leading Electronics Corporation, is seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for the design and development of high voltage power conversion products and associated equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with customers to agree on unit specifications.
  • Design and develop high voltage power conversion products and associated equipment to agreed specifications.
  • Investigate/research new design techniques to improve product performance.
  • Accurately document the design to enable full manufacturing packages to be created or amended.
  • Meet agreed time-scales for a task or project.
  • Ensure products are compliant with all current legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assume ownership of assigned projects from conception to completion.
  • Contribute to the Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in a related field.
  • Experience in high voltage power conversion design.
  • Knowledge of current regulations and procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
