About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled People Manager to join our client, a leading distribution business based in Burton on Trent.

Job Description

This is a dynamic and varied role that requires a talented HR professional to lead and manage a small HR team, providing all generalist HR support for a large headcount at a busy distribution site.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and motivate the Human Resources team to achieve high performance standards
  2. Develop and implement effective HR strategies and initiatives to drive business results
  3. Provide guidance and advice to stakeholders on all HR matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies
  4. Manage employee relations, including investigating and resolving complaints and grievances
  5. Design and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  6. Recruit and select top talent to fill critical roles within the organization
  7. Evaluate performance and productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed

Salary and Benefits

  • Up to £50,000 salary
  • Hybrid working arrangement - 4 days onsite and 1 day home per week
