Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled team leader to coordinate the Short Breaks Service, providing person-centered care to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors. This role is part of our Adult Services and Health directorate, which brings together adult social care, public health, housing, and regulatory services for the first time in Council history.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve the lives of adults with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors, promoting their wellbeing and independence within their local community.
- Collaborate with health colleagues, housing, and regulatory services to provide support and resources for service users.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centered care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors through effective coordination and management of the Short Breaks Service.
- Extensive experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
- Possess real passion for delivering quality care and improving the lives of adults with a commitment to delivering a high-quality, person-centered service in line with CQC standards.
- Ability to work creatively, flexibly, and supportively with individuals to help modernize social care services in partnership with the people who use them.
- A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
