EdEx is a reputable educational institution working with four 'Good' and 'Outstanding' schools across the Borough of Newham. We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to fill various teaching roles in Science, Maths, and English for full-time, permanent contracts commencing in September.

We offer an ideal opportunity for graduates looking to start their teaching career and have their teacher training funded by the school. Several routes into qualified teaching exist from this role, including the 12-week assessment-only route, a Schools Direct Initial Teacher Training programme, and a PGCE.

The successful candidate will have the chance to:

  • Have their own classes, with the support of a subject specialist mentor
  • Benefit from provided schemes of work
  • Work alongside the school, covering all lessons on a KS3-4 basis
  • Deliver high-quality cover lessons
  • Focus on their personal strengths in a subject specialism

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for raising attainment and the quality of learning while inspiring and motivating young minds. Effective behaviour management is also essential.

We anticipate the salary for this position to be around £24,000 - £36,500 per annum.
