Job Description:

We are looking for an Education and Support Professional to join our team at Remedy Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one tutoring and support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a creative and flexible manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and working with children with various learning needs, including ASD, SEMH, MLD/SLD, and other AEN. You will work closely with local authorities and schools to identify students who require additional support and develop personalized plans to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years' experience working with SEN students
  • Proven ability to heighten pupils' confidence, self-esteem, and love of learning
  • 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability, and honesty
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Incredible patience
  • An excellent knowledge of different learning styles and how to use them
  • The ability to deal with possible behavior issues
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service

Salary: £25-£35 per hour
