Role Overview

This Special Educational Needs TA role at Remedy Education involves working with students aged 5-19 who require specialist support. Your main focus will be on developing life skills for highly vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of social, emotional, and cognitive skills in students.
  • Collaborate with students across various year groups who have diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, and mental health challenges.
  • Benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities, including regular training in safeguarding and SEN awareness.
  • Pursue career progression opportunities, such as Clinical or Educational Psychologists.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with children or young people is preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary range for this full-time position is £37,000 - £42,500. The equivalent daily rate is £90 - £105 based on a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule.
