Job Title: Special Needs Educator

We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join our team at Remedy Education in Newham, East London.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with a range of learning disabilities, including ASD, SEMH, MLD/SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality education and support to these students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored tuition to students with special educational needs in Maths, English, or Science.
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that cater to each student's unique requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
  • QTS or at least 1 year of experience teaching and working with SEN.
  • At least 2 years' experience working with SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD, PDA, dysgraphia, and global developmental delay.
  • A proven track record of enhancing pupils' confidence, self-esteem, and love of learning.
  • 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability, and honesty.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Registration to work as self-employed.
Salary:

£40,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
