Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled SEN tutor to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an SEN tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one tuition to children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and working with SEN students, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality tuition to students with SEND, tailoring your approach to meet the individual needs of each child
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff
- Assess student progress and adjust your teaching methods accordingly
- Stay up-to-date with developments in SEN teaching and share best practices with colleagues
Requirements
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- At least 2 years' experience teaching SEN students
- Proven ability to motivate and engage students with diverse needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS clearance and registration to work as self-employed
