Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support two girls with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Key Stage 1.
Salary:■ Daily rate: £90-£105
We offer competitive daily rates of £90-£105, paid weekly, making this an attractive opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children with special needs.
Job Description:This role requires a strong understanding of strategies to help children with additional needs access the curriculum and develop key skills.
The ideal candidate will possess patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils. They will also have excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other staff members.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to the pupils in Key Stage 1 with ASD.
- Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring both children can engage and participate fully.
- Working closely with the class teacher and other support staff to implement strategies and interventions.
- Supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of the pupils.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive environment that fosters independence and confidence.
- Previous experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other special educational needs.
- A proactive and flexible approach to adapting to the needs of the children and classroom.
