Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and address any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate and organized filing systems, focusing on clarity and precision.
  • Participate in store visits to provide comprehensive feedback to management.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging fashion trends.
  • Identify new brand opportunities to enhance our existing portfolio and maximize sales performance.
  • Support negotiations with brand partners to ensure accurate pricing and margins.
  • Respond to in-season opportunities, including reorders, cancellations, and order rescheduling.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Buyer or Buyers Assistant.
  • Deep passion for fashion with an awareness of upcoming trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and a solid understanding of financial metrics.
  • Personable, confident, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive, 'can-do' attitude with the ability to show initiative.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
