About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Field Technician Grade 4 to join our Optometry team in Wales. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality visual field and ophthalmic diagnostics services to patients.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a clinical environment, be able to follow organisational policies, and possess excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks accordingly.

Key Duties
  1. To work as part of the Optometry team to undertake visual field, diagnostic ophthalmic imaging, and visual acuity testing, following standard operating procedures and responding flexibly to the needs of the service.
  2. Support the Optometry staff by assisting with some modalities of optometric interventions.
  3. Participate in the capture/provision of relevant data which may be for the benefit of patients or the Optometry department.
