Lead Residential Childcare Professional

Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year

Diverse Talent Partners is recruiting for a Lead Residential Childcare Professional to join their dynamic team in Maidstone, Kent. Key Job Functions:

  • Support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality care and services to young people, promoting partnership with staff, local agencies, and young people's families.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with Safeguarding Procedures, Health and Safety Regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead and motivate staff to achieve excellent outcomes, provide coaching and guidance, and identify opportunities for staff development and training.
  • In conjunction with the Registered Manager, take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home in their absence.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Childcare and a proven track record as a Deputy Manager within a home rated as 'Good' or 'Outstanding' are essential requirements for this role. Ideal candidates will possess the necessary abilities, values, and skills to excel in this position and have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and regulations.
